This is the later-year listing of the naked Raptor 1000, which kept the Suzuki TL1000S-based V-twin with Cagiva's lower gearing and retuned fuel injection. The reviewer praised the motor as brilliant and explained the gap between Suzuki's higher claimed power and Cagiva's roughly 105 hp as crank versus rear-wheel measurement. Styling by Miguel Galluzzi gave it an angular, upright naked look.
